Social Practice Anonymous is a collaborative performance and conference-style presentation written and performed with Benni MacDonald that presents a satirical solution to the impossibility of creation under bureaucratic systems of inequality. Using movement, fictionalized accounts, and self-deprecating confession, the artists present an abstract way forward, a collaborative escape from precarious labor, hegemonic artistic success stories, and compulsory performance of marginalized identities in order to compete for resources, funding, and public support.
